Applications are invited for position of Programme Officer (M&E) under National AIDS Control Programme, Department of AIDS Control, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on contractual basis.
Name of the Post-:Programme Officer (M&E)
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop M&E Plan and guide States in development of M&E Plans for fulfilling the NACP targets.
2. Designing and implementation of programme monitoring system for NACP
3. Improve the quality of data and promote information use for decision making.
4. Develop and implement the capacity building plans of SIMU at all levels.
5. Coordinate Projects on Strategic Information Management System (SIMS)
6. Monitor and review the progress set for Annual Action Plan
7. Maintains and updates the centralized database at DAC.
8. Preparation of status note for implementation of National AIDS Control Programme, assist in preparation of Result Framework Document, Outcome Budget and Annual report
9. Assist in preparation of presentation, reports and guidelines as and when required
10. Any other work assigned by the Senior Officers from time to time
Reporting Officer: Deputy Director General (M&E)
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
1. Post Graduate in the field of Demography/ Statistics/Bio-Statistics and related fields.
2. Minimum 5 yrs experience in the field of Health/ Social development with 2 years in the field of M&E, Development/ Maintenance of MIS, Training etc. Experience may be relaxed at the discretion of Secretary, Department of AIDS Control in deserving cases with relevant
experience in M&E for HIV/AIDS Control.
Desirable:
1. Advance course in computer application from an institute of repute
2. Knowledge of statistical analysis and report writing
3. Past experience of working in HIV/AIDS programme or projects under government or bilateral/ multi-lateral agencies in India
Remuneration: Rs. 76,000 /- per month Consolidated
Duration: Initial contract shall be for One Year. Subsequent re-contracting will be based on
Performance.
Place of Posting: New Delhi
Age: Below 60 years
