Walk-in-Interview will be held on 18-02-2014, at 10.30 hrs. at National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Rajendranagar, Hyd.-30, for engagement of RESEARCH ASSOCIATE and SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (1 post each), on contractual basis,
to work in the following time-bound PDFMD-PDADMAS Collaborative Project based at the Academy.
The eligibility criteria and other terms and conditions for the positions are as under :
Name of the project-:“Assessment of the Socio-economic Impact of FMD and its Control in India”.

Number of posts-:Two (02)
Period-:14 months (upto March, 2015) (or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier ).
Remuneration-:
RA: Rs.23,000/- per month + HRA
SRF: Rs.16,000/- per month + HRA
(RA: Rs.24,000/- p.m. + HRA for Doctoral Degree Holders).
(SRF: Rs.18,000/- p.m. + HRA for PG in Veterinary Science).
Age Limit-:
(1) RA – Men: 40 years – Women: 45 years
(2) SRF - Men: 35 years – Women: 40 years
(relaxable for SC/ST/OBC & PH as per Govt.of India rules).
Eligibility criteria-:
Educational Qualifications : For RESEARCH ASSOCIATE :
Essential: (i) Ph.D Degree in Agriculture and allied Sciences/Veterinary Science / Economics / Social Work / Rural Development / Business
Management/Business Administration (OR) (ii) Master’s Degree in Agriculture and allied Sciences/Veterinary Science/Economic/Social
Work/Rural Development / Masters’ Degree in Business Management/ MBA with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA with atleast
2 years research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associateship / Training / other engagements. Published researchpapers will be desirable.
Educational Qualifications : For SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW :
Essential: (i) Master’s Degree in Agriculture and allied Sciences /
Veterinary Science / Economics / Social Work / Rural Development / Masters’ Degree in Business Management/MBA.
(ii) Desirable : (i) Willing to travel extensively to collect socio-economic data from different stake holders (ii) Proficiency in Computer skills.
Place of Posting-:NAARM, Hyd., and AICRP on FMD, Dept. of Animal Husbandry, Disease Investigation, Veterinary Biological & Research Institute, Shantinagar, Hyd-500028.
Mode of engagement-:Purely on Contract (Temporary) basis and co-terminus with the project.

The position is purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project, i.e., upto the end of March 2015.
NAARM, Hyderabad or PD-ADMAS, Bangalore, will not be held responsible to give regular appointment after expiry of the project. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
