Sub: Appointment of Lecturers on contract basis in the School of Management Studies – Notification – Reg.
The Cochin University of Science and Technology invites applications in the prescribed format to fill up the vacant teaching positions in the School of Management Studies on contract basis as detailed below:
1.Name of the Department : School of Management Studies
2.No. of Vacancies: 9 Posts
3.Subject/Specialization :
1. Finance -2 Posts
2. Marketing -2 Posts
3. Human Resource - 2 Posts
4. Operations/Systems -2 Posts
5. Travel & Tourism -1 Post
4.Essential Qualifications:
As prescribed by UGC
i. First Class Masters Degree in Business Management/Administration/in a relevant management related discipline or first class in two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU/Acredited by the AICTE/UGC.
OR
ii. First Class graduate and professionally qualified Charted Accountant/Cost and Works Accountant/Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies.
iii. Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR & similar tests accredited by UGC like SLET/SET
5.Desirable Qualification:
i. Teaching, Research, Industrial and/or professional experience in the reputed organization.
ii. Papers presented at Conferences and/or published in refereed journals.
6.Consolidated salary per month:
1. Rs.26,000/- per month for M.Phil/P.G with NET holders
2. Rs.27,500/- per month for Ph.D holders
Application fee & Mode of remittance -:Rs.500/- for General category candidates and Rs.100/- for SC/ST category candidates
