Advertisement for appointment of Vyakhyata Sahayak for Government Colleges 2014-15

• Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates for approximately 580 vacant posts of Assistant Professors (Vyakhyata Sahayak) in faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Law and Education in Government colleges on 11 months contractual basis with a fixed pay of Rs 16500/- for the academic year 2014-15.
• The recruitment process will be carried out as per UGC Regulations 2010 and the notifications of Education Department, Government of Gujarat dated 19th March, 2011; 29th June, 2011 and 7th May 2012.
• Eligible candidates can submit their applications online on www.cheguj.com from 03-07-2014 to 09-07-2014 by following the instructions on website.

1. Educational Qualifications:

• A. Arts, Commerce, Science and Law faculty subjects:
• According to the guidelines of the University Grants Commission, the candidate must have possess minimum 55 % marks at post graduate level and must have cleared UGC NET (certificate) or GSLET (certificate) examination.
• Candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Differently Disabled categories of the Gujarat origin will be entitled to a maximum of 5% relaxation at postgraduate level without considering grace marks.
• In respect of the candidates who have passed post-graduation before 19-09-1991 and having Ph.D. will get relaxation of 5 % marks.
• Candidates with Ph.D. qualification as per University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, will be exempted from NET/SLET qualification. Such candidates with Ph.D. qualification as per University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, have to produce a certificate from the competent authority of the respective University in this regard.
• B. For Education faculty (B.Ed. Colleges) :
• Minimum 50 % marks at Graduate level in respective subject method, Minimum 50 % marks in Master's degree in the relevant subject and M.Ed. with relevant subject (Minimum 55 % marks in M.Ed. or equivalent grade) and NET/SLET/SET.
• Candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Differently Disabled categories of Gujarat origin will be entitled to a maximum of 5% relaxation at postgraduate level in accordance with the UGC Regulation 2009.

Age:

• 2.1 Maximum 30 years for Arts, Commerce and Science faculties.
• 2.2 Maximum of 35 years for Law faculty.
• 2.3 Maximum of 32 years for Education faculty.

• Eligible candidates have to apply online on website www.cheguj.com within the prescribed time limit.
• Application form will not be accepted through Postal and Courier, nor are they to be hand delivered, faxed or emailed to the office.
• The candidate will have to register first on website www.cheguj.com. If needed, necessary instructions will be given to the candidates from time to time on his/her e-mail ID. Candidates have to give their own e-mail ID.
• On-line application form will open by logging in on website after registration. Application form should be filled up carefully. Correction can be made by the candidates in his/her form before 09/07/2014.
