Applications are invited for the following purely temporary posts in the DBT funded Project titled "JNU-DBT National Training Facility for state of the art Equipment used in Biotechnology Research".
1. Technical Officer (One) - Rs. 28,600 (consolidated)
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Life Science//Physics/Biotechnology with two years of experience in running scientific instruments in laboratory.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in Confocal and Live Imaging Microscopy
2. Technical Officer (One) - Rs. 29,900 (consolidated)
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Life Science//Physics/Biotechnology with four years of experience in running scientific instruments in laboratory.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in Confocal Raman, Atomic Force Microscopy, Scanning Tunnelling Microscopy.
3. Technical Officer (One) - Rs. 31, 200 (consolidated)
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Life Science//Physics/Biotechnology with six years of experience in running scientific instruments in laboratory.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in Mass Spectrometry.
4. Research Associate (One) Rs.22, 000/- + 30% HRA
Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Chemistry/ Life Science/Physics/Biotechnology Or M.Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/Material Science with two years of experience.
5. Research Associate (One) Rs.23, 000/- + 30% HRA
Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Chemistry/Physics/Life Science/Biotechnology/Material Science with one year of experience.
6. Research Associate (One) Rs.24,000/- + 30% HRA
Essential Qualifications: Ph.D in Chemistry/ Life Science/Physics/Biotechnology with two years of experience.
The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis, initially for a period of one year or till his/her services are required by the Project Director or till the validity of the project, whichever is earliest.
