Specific Qualification/Experience: An eminent scholar with a Ph. D. in any of the disciplines - Anthropology, Architecture and Planning, Economics, Education, Law, Management, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or in inter-disciplinary areas of social, health, management, development, habitat, disaster and climate
sciences - and active engagement in research with strong publications record.
Should be actively engaged in research, guidance of M.Phil., Ph.D. and Post Doctoral scholars.
The candidate would have demonstrated administrative experience, and strong interface with all levels of government through engagement in research, policy support and membership in committees; industry; and non-government organisations.
