1.Reservation A)SC/ST/OBC Category Vacancies for SC/ST/OBC candidates are reserved in accordance with Section 3A (1) and (ii) of Apprentice Act 1961 read in conjunction with Schedule IIA of Rule 5 of Apprenticeshnp Rules 1992.
Latest certificate should be issued by competent authority as per format enumerated in Govt. orders from time to time.
B)Physically Handicapped.Vacancies for PHC candidates are resatved in accordance with Apprentices Act 1961 read in conjunction with Apprenticeship Rules 1992. Latest certificate issued by medical board by any Govt. Hospital.
C)Children of Armed Forces Personnel / Ex-serviceman. Vacancies for children of armed forces and ex-servicemen are reserved in accordance with Apprentices Act 1961.
2.Eligibility for applying
A) Qualification.SSC/ Matric / Std X with minimum of 50% (aggregate) and ITI (NCVT) in relevant trades with minimum 6(aggregate).
B) Age.The age criterion for various categories as on 15 Apr 2014 are as foIIows:-
Candidates belong to-:General Born between (both dates are inclusive)-: 15 Apr 1993 to 15 Apr 2000
Candidates belong to-: SC/ST Born between (both dates are inclusive)-:15 Apr 1988 to 15 Apr 2000
Candidates belong to-:Son /Daughter of Naval Civilian /Defence EmployeeBorn between (both dates are inclusive) -:Additibnal age relaxation of two years subjected to approval of IHQ / MOD (Navy)
