Applications are invited on prescribed proforma from the eligible candidates of Armed Forces on deputationlre-employment basis for filling up the post of Head Constable (Technical) in Group ‘C’ Combatized Posts in Border Security Force, Sector Motor NIT Workshop, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India in the Pay scale PB-1,Rs.5200-20,200 Plus GP Rs.2400/ with perks like DA, Accommodation, Uniform, LTC, Medical Facilities and other allowances/incentives as admissible from time to time.

4. Eligibility Criteria for deputationlre-empioyment-:
(a) DEPUTATION-CUM-RE-ENIPLOYNIENT (Ex-Servicemen}
The Armed Forces personnel holding analogous post or in the grade of pay Band-l (Rs. 520020200 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2000!-) with eight years regular service in the grade and possessing educational, professional and technical qualification prescribed in column-5 (A & B) and due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve Within a period of one year shall be Considered. Such person would be given deputation term up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces, thereafter they may be Considered to be Continued on re-employment.
(b) RE-EMPLOYMENT (EX-SERVICEMEN)
The retired Armed Forces personnel possessing qualifications and experience as prescribed in column 5 (A & B) and held analogous or equivalent post in the Armed Forces of the Union with break in service not more than two years.
Superannuation - A person appointed under the provisions ofthe rules shall retire from service on afternoon of the last day ofthe month in which he attains the age of fifty-seven years.
Provided that the person Whose date of birth is the ñrst of a month shall retire on the afternoon of the last day the preceding month of attaining the age of 57 years.
No person shall be granted extension in service beyond the age of retirement of ñfty-seven years.
5. OTHER REQUISITE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR DEPUTATIONIRE;EMPLOYMENT IN BSF SMT WORKSHOP
(A) EDUCATIONALIPROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENT
(i) Education- N1aïriculatiom'î0th class or above from a recognized Board/Institution and equivalent or equivalent in Armed Forces.
(ii) Undergone Basic Training in Armed Forces.
(iii) Mandatory Army Technical Courses as prescribed to the respective trade shown below at Column 5(B)lEquive|ent Courses in respective Forces.
(iv) Map reading standard-Illequivalent in Armed Forces.
(v) Medical Category SHAPEJI or equivalent in Armed Forces.
Physical Standard
No Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be held for Ex-servicemen at the time of their recruitment in BSF as per instructions. However, IEX-servicemen Will be required to pass the requisite medical examination in SHAPE-l category and meet physical standard as prescribed below according to BSF SMT Wksp Recruitment Rules.
(a) Height- 165 Cms.
(b) Chest-75 Cms(80 Cms after expansion)
(c) Weight- Corresponding to height as per medical Standards.
Note- The minimum standard so far as it relates to height may be relaxed to 160 Cms in respect of persons belonging to the races, namely Garhwalis,Kumaonese, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Sikkimies, persons hailing from Leh and Ladakh, Kashmir Valley, North Eastern State, The State of Himachal Pradesh and Adivasis or Tribals.
