RECRUITMENT 'LQ THE Post oF STAFF NURSE IN ANDAMAN NICOBAR HEALATH DEBLÄRTMENT.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates in the prescribed format (Annexure I) for appointment to the under mentioned post purely on temporary basis but likely to continue. The applications duly filled in should reach to the Director of Health Services, Port Blair on or before 30.09.2013 positively. No applications will be entertained after 30.09.2013.

07.Educational and other qualiñcations -:
Essentia1:1. XIIth Std. (Senior School Certiñcate Examination) passed from a recognized Board / University / Institute.
2. Diploma in General Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized Institution / College.
3. Should be registered with the Nursing Council.
Desirable:-
1. Degree in Medical and Surgical Nursíng/ Midwifery from a recognized School of Nursing/ College.
2. Two years experience.
NB: The number of vacancies shown at Serial No.4 against each category or total are Subject to variation.
1. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:-
i. Applicant must be an Indian national.
ii. All candidates shall be required to apply for the post in the prescribed format irrespective of the fact Whether they are registered with the Employment Exchange or not.
iii. The Govt. servant/Departmental candidates must apply through proper channel only.
iv. After scrutinizing the applications received, a list of eligible candidates will be published in "The Daily Telegrams" and “Dweep Samachar".
2. Centre and date of examination:The centre of examination will be in and around Port Blair. The date, time and centre of examination will be intimated through Govt. Media] Admit Card/Administration's Website.
3. Selection of candidates: Selection Will be based on the overall marks obtained in the written test and interview to draw merit list.
4. Documents to be attached with the application:
i. Self attested copy of all the following valid testimonials are required to be attached:
Educational qualification
Technical qualification
Age proof (xth passed certificate)
Live employment registration card
GBC certificate
Proof of physically handicapped
Registration with the Nursing Counciì
Experience, if any
ii.Two copies of recent passport of size (3.5 X 4.5cms) photograph to be attached with the application form.
iii.One self addressed Post Card (candidate should write the name and year of the Examination on the Post Card in addition to his postal address).
iv.Two self addressed envelopes of size 12eme x 25 cms., out of which one should contaín/ postage stamp worth Rs, 15.00.
V.Two slips (with lOcms x 05 cms size) indicating name and postal address of the candidate.

A)Write the name of the aspirant candidate on the backside of the photographs.
B)Only attested copies of testimonials are required to be attached with the application form. Original certificates may be produced at the time of interview.
C)Incomplete or unsigned application or application without supporting documents as per 4(i) as asked therein is liable to be summarily rejected.
D)Educational/ technical certificates should be issued from recognized Board / University/ Institute/ College] Council.
5. How to apply:
The application in the prescribed format together with self attested copies of the documents] testimonials addressed to Director of Health Services, Andaman 81; Nicobar Administration, Port Blair Should be dropped in the box kept in office or by post, which should reach the addressee on or before the closing date Le. 30.09.2013.
6.Admission to the Examination:
A)Before submitting his/ her application, the candidate must carefully read the eligibility conditions prescribed for the post and satisfy himself/herself that lle/she fulfils all eligibility criteria prescribed therein.
B)Admit Card for the Written examination indicating the time- table/venue of the examination will be issued to all eligible applicants well in advance.
C)No candidate Will be allowed in the examination hall without Admit Card.
D) If any candidate does not receive the Admission Certificate (Admit Card) for the examination till 1(0ne) week before the date of examination, he/ she must immediately contact the Assistant Director (Adam), Directorate of Health Services, Port Blair in person for issue of duplicate Admit Card Subject to production of two additional photographs and proof of identity. Failure to do so Will deprive the candidate to appear in the Written Examination.
